HOW TO ENTER AND WIN!!!
For the majority of us, it is HOT! We are facing the warmest days of summer... the Dog Days. I'm not sure why they call it that except that it reminds me of how dogs hang their tongues out to stay cool. While that's fine for a dog, we'd look pretty silly doing that. So, for a chance to win the CHA Summer Prize Pack, tell us the fun, creative way you keep yourself and/or your family cool during the scorching days of late summer!* It can be silly or practical... but try to create an interesting comment detailing your method of chilling out in the HOT summer months. We will pick a random winner from the most creative entries and award that person an amazing CHA prize pack! So, post a comment here (click on the "Comments" link below this post) before midnight, August 15th (Eastern Standard Time). And try to STAY COOL! CHA Best of Show
Sorry this is late. Mother Nature decided to hit us with an electrical storm, and lightning blew out our TV, Cable box/DVR, AND our modem. So we're living a little on the Amish side of things this week. Had to wait until I got back to work to post this.
Thanks for caring! LOLWe selected our "Scrap N' Art BEST OF CHA" companies, and wanted to share them with you. Both of these companies will be featured very soon in the Scrap N' Art publication, so be sure to watch for them, along with AWESOME prize packs from both companies!
First, we have GCD Studios. Their line of double sided patterned cardstock and specialty papers are FABULOUS. Their variety and selection of styles is incredibly vast, and we were so impressed with their level of quality, as well as their customer service.
Next we have Dream Street Papers. This company has the most delightful group of designers producing unique and cheerfully fun paper designs. We cannot wait to bring you more from them, and discover the unlimited potentials of their products!
WE HAVE CHA SAMPLES, AND WE'RE GIVING THEM ALL TO YOU!
Nearly every booth we visited at CHA had brand new product samples to share, and we brought home TOO MUCH STUFF! So we've decided to give it all away to one lucky Scrap N' Art reader! November/December Page & Project Calls
(Deadline September 1st, 2008):All Things Thanksgiving & Christmas. Send us all your Thanksgiving & Christmas related layouts and paper crafts, including but not limited to:
* Altered Christmas ornaments
* Handmade Thanksgiving & Xmas decorations & cards
* Handmade wrapping paper or layouts using wrapping paper
* Scrap a page about your favorite ornament or decoration
* Non-traditional holiday layouts
* Holiday layouts with no photo
* Retro (70s & 80s) Holiday layouts
* Layouts using predominantly red, green, and gold
Other layouts & projects we're looking for:
* Layouts with doodling (hand, stenciled or stamped)
* Layouts using die cut elements from cutting machines (manual & automatic)
* Neglected sticker layouts (use your old stickers!)
* Scrap your 2008 events
* Black Friday/Shopping Layouts
* Food & Recipe layouts or mini books
Use our online submission tool to submit your work, but PLEASE read our submission rules and instructions prior to submitting your work. If you do not follow the instructions regarding image size, file names, etc. your work may be passed up for publication.

July/August Issue of Scrap N' Art
The July/August issue of Scrap N' Art is now available. Registered subscribers should be able to see a "Download!" link in the upper menu after logging in to the site that will take them to the download page. Registered subscribers should also have received an email newsletter yesterday that contained the download link as well as other news and information. If you did not receive your email, please make sure you have added editor@scrapnart.com to your email contact list, or list of accepted emailers.
