. . . the cover of your mini album, that is! But, what if you only have an idea for the inside pages? That’s where I was this past weekend. I had found these really neat envelope templates from Westrim Crafts and just knew they could be used to make a super cute mini album. So, I set to work. I began with one of the templates:
and added some patterned paper from My Mind’s Eye So Sophie Collection (one of my favs). Then, I used some kraft paper from Paper Accents, added a little stamping, and came up with a mini inspiration journal.
Now, all I needed was a cover for my album. That’s when I turned to From Cover2Cover. This company offers acrylic, metal and chipboard panels in all different sizes. It’s the perfect weight for a mini album cover, and it can be cut down to any size you need. I cut two sheets of chipboard 7″x4″ to fit the size of the envelopes I made. I rounded the corners and punched holes for metal rings with my Crop-a-dile. Then, I added ribbon, some twine and a cute little bird from Jenni Bowlin. Perfect!

This is beautiful. Love that these are envelopes! I’m thinking that, with a different palette, this would be a neat mini-album for a kid to take on a vacation. They could save those little pieces of trash, I mean treasure, that they pick up along the way!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!
So cute — love the colors and the binder twine bows.
